So for one of my assignments in my Humanities class, we were asked to write a 15 line Langland style poem. This is mine:

Said Pride to Prudence, who prodded for an answer,
“Willing, aren’t you? Why not humor me?”
Laughing lightly, and looking lowly,
Prudence was pensive, and paused before saying,
“Humor you say? I humbly refuse.
‘Tis not the moment for needless humor;
That moment in time has melted and passed.
But blinded are you by bragging and boasting
So simple a solution, see you not?
Pride and Prudence can’t possibly be friends.
Leave Snootiness, Smugness and Snobbery at the door.
Then be there, thought to your probing
And the response to resolve this puzzle of yours
Will reveal when you surrender your vow to Wisdom.
