Random Thoughts

You're in a group discussion which is about to end and the group leader asks you this:

Group leader: Do you have anything to say?
Person: No.

By saying no, you are already saying something right, so that means that you actually have something to say. In order to communicate the fact that you don't have anything else to say, you have to say something. In that case, what should your answer be?

Person: Yes. No, I don't have anything else to say.

That makes more sense, no? Hehe...but for simpler communication purposes I will restrain from answering that question as such and stick to saying "No"...or just shaking my head.
